Winter’s Embrace

I had visited this spot with the aim to photograph the wider view of the lochan with the mountains behind, which had looked spectacular on a previous visit but the best of the conditions were subsiding as I arrived. For several reasons it didn’t work out on this occasion, but this grouping of trees stood out beautifully against the partially frozen water.
