Dalveen pass

Taken in early April 2006 after a light snowfall. The Southern Upland Way passes very close to this view but surprisingly you have to take a detour of about 100m from the track to even know it is there For those who don't know the Southern Upland Way is a long distance walk from Portpatrick in the Southwest of Scotland to Cockburnspath in the East. The house in the foreground sets the scale nicely.Featured in Scotland on Sundays openspace in 2007.
